I have been retesting newest iqfeed and it is MUCH MUCH better, including mixed mode. Thanks! I sent to tech support but I do get access violation errors using all the lastest versions and plugins) when I try to reconnect. In addition, while it was working fine last week, many symbols are not backfilling within AmiBroker but are backfilling w/in another product connected to the same iqfeed. For instance, I have a whole realtime window and I click on some symbols and they backfill; others don't. I look at the data window and some say "ready" and others just say "added" and won't fill. I don't know if this is their issue or AmiBroker talking to their product but the same symbol WILL fill using another product. I'm sure we'll get these worked out...thanks for the improvements.

Thank you Tomasz. Alas IQFeed's new servers have encountered some timing issues and we are back to old ones. Hope it won't last for too long :( I am impatient to test your plugin. If only everything could run as smoothly as AB...

I am currently testing the tick base time and it works fine up to now. Tick charts are quite interesting as it gives you a different perspective. It is nice to see this long-awaited feature now available for IQfeed users. However I have a question: what is the most appropriate number of bars (in the database setup) ? I have used 100000 so far but could any problem occur if I choose 1millon+ ?
