{"id":978,"date":"2014-12-30T10:51:44","date_gmt":"2014-12-30T15:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.amibroker.com\/kb\/?p=978"},"modified":"2015-01-04T20:17:43","modified_gmt":"2015-01-05T01:17:43","slug":"how-to-increase-font-size-for-ui-elements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amibroker.com\/wordpress\/kb\/2014\/12\/30\/how-to-increase-font-size-for-ui-elements\/","title":{"rendered":"How to increase font size for UI elements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In order to change \/ increase font size used for AmiBroker user interface elements, we can choose one of the following solutions:<\/p><ol><li>Set higher DPI in Windows Control Panel, or<li>Set font size for individual UI elements such as list views using Windows Control Panel,<\/ol><p>To set higher DPI in Windows Control Panel, follow the instructions below.<\/p><p>If you are using <strong>Windows 7 or Windows 8:<\/strong><\/p><p>Open <strong>Screen Resolution<\/strong> by clicking the <strong>Start<\/strong> button, clicking <strong>Control Panel<\/strong>, and then under <strong>Appearance and Personalization<\/strong>, click <strong>Adjust screen resolution<\/strong>. Then click M<strong>ake text and other elements larger or smaller<\/strong><\/p><p><img src=\"\/\/www.amibroker.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/ui1.png\" alt=\"Control Panel\" \/><\/p><p>Now set the size of fonts choosing <strong>Medium<\/strong> or <strong>Larger<\/strong> in order to increase fonts globally.<\/p><p><img src=\"\/\/www.amibroker.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/ui2.png\" alt=\"Control Panel\" \/><\/p><p><strong>For Windows XP<\/strong> &#8211; please follow the Microsoft documentation presented here:<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/resources\/documentation\/windows\/xp\/all\/proddocs\/en-us\/display_use_large_or_small_fonts.mspx?mfr=true\" title=\"Microsoft docs\">https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/resources\/documentation\/windows\/xp\/all\/proddocs\/en-us\/display_use_large_or_small_fonts.mspx?mfr=true<\/a><\/p><p>It is also possible to avoid changing all fonts globally and enlarge fonts e.g. for list views only.
