The data size calculator

Number of symbols
Data length

NOTE: The number of ticks (trades) per day depends highly on activity on given instrument.
The above calculator assumes that instrument gets 10 trades per second on average, so there are 864000 ticks per day (24 hour trading)
*Minimum RAM required estimate is calculated as 4x the amount of per-symbol data size (but not less than 8MB). This is the minimum amount of RAM required to a) load single symbol data into RAM, b) create temporary arrays in AFL to execute the formula and c) produce simple price chart output on screen. This is absolute bare minimum for single formula-based chart.
The amount required for backtesting will be greater (depending on how many symbols participate in backtesting and how many signals are generated)
